On March 19 singer/songwriter Marnie Stern will release her new record the Chronicles of Marnia. To celebrate the occasion in her own unique way the playful guitarist is offering up the chance to go on an all-expense paid date with her on the day of the record’s release.

According to the “personal ad” the ideal candidate is “is a homebody who doesn’t mind that his girlfriend is out of town on tour a lot, and is not a drug addict, a slacker, or a vegan.”

There’s also a questionnaire to weed out the weirdos, such as:

When/ how long was your last relationship?
What are your hobbies/interests?
What qualities do you most enjoy in a woman?
List any anti-depressants you currently take:
What do you know about Marnie and why do you want to date her?
What would your most recent ex-girlfriend say about you? Can we get her email?
Where would you take Marnie on a first date and why?

Once you’ve settled on all your answers you can email them at datemarnieonreleasedate@gmail.com. Considering that this is the same girl that set up a kissing booth supporting her 2008 album This Is It and I Am It ..., whoever wins this thing is in for a real treat.
