New York based electro songwriter/DJ Matthew Dear has announced a new EP Headcage, slated for release January 17 via Ghostly International. The EP found him mixing/tracking at Nicholas Vernhes’ Rare Book Room studio, as well as collaborating with Jonny Pierce of The Drums, who lends vocals to “In the Middle (I Met You There).” You can stream the title track from the EP here. Dear is also headed out for a spate of DJ dates in preparation for a full band tour. We have those dates below.
