Metric Announces Score to David Cronenberg Film, “Cosmopolis”’
A Co-Production with Howard Shore

Metric
Metric is busy in the studio, finishing up their next album. However, that hasn’t stopped the Canadian quartet from plotting their next move. As they announced on their website today, the band will be teaming up with composer Howard Shore to produce the score to David Cronenberg film, Cosmopolis.
Says Metric, “We just confirmed we will be working with our favorite film composer Howard Shore on the score for a new David Cronenberg movie starring Robert Pattinson, minus the vampires! It’s an adaptation of the book Cosmopolis by Don DeLillo, and the themes are right in tune with the overall mood of the world at the moment. In Cosmopolis, the rat has become a unit of currency!”
The band previously worked with Shore on last year’s Twilight Saga: Eclipse theme song. Cosmopolis is set to be released sometime in 2012.
