Metric Release New Song, “The Shade,” and Announce New Album Due in September
On Tour with Imagine Dragons This Summer
May 11, 2015
Metric
It’s been three years since Metric put out their last album, 2012’s Synthetica, but the Canadian band fronted by Emily Haines have just put out a new single, “The Shade.” It’s taken from the band’s forthcoming sixth album, which is slated for release this September. No other details on the album have been revealed (such as the album title or exact release date), but “The Shade” can be streamed below via YouTube and is also available on iTunes and Spotify.
Metric will also be opening up for Imagine Dragons all through June and July and those dates are below (lots of venues named after huge corporations, such as the “KFC Yum! Center” in Louisville, which I guess comes with the territory when you’re opening for a band like Imagine Dragons).
