Under the Radar favorites Mew have announced a slew of new North American tour dates to go down this September and October. The Danish band (Jonas Bjerre, Bo Madsen, Silke Utke Graae Jorgensen, and Johan Wohlert) will be touring in support of their recently released new album, +-, which is out now via [PIAS] America. The Dodos will be the support act on the tour.
A press release promises that on these tour dates Mew “will utilize video, LED trees, and other special lighting to create a quixotic experience for concert-goers. The set list will include fan-favorites such as ‘Zookeeper’s Boy,’ ‘Am I Wry? No,’ ‘Comforting Sounds,’ and ‘Snow Brigade,’ interspersed seamlessly alongside new tracks like ‘Satellites,’ ‘Water Slides,’ and ‘Witness.’”
Mew performed at Under the Radar’s SXSW party this year. They also kept a SXSW diary for us, recently made a mixtape for us, and wrote a guest blog on a British design TV show. Also pick up Under the Radar’s current print issue to read an interview with Mew’s Jonas Bjerre.
