Mikal Cronin
After releasing his self-titled debut album in 2011, singer/songwriter Mikal Cronin will release his first album on new label home Merge this May. The new full-length, titled MCII, was recorded late in 2012 with ERic Bauer at Bauer Mansion in San Francisco and features guest work by Ty Segall, whom Cronin toured with supporting his last album.
“Since the first record came out, my life has changed quite a bit,” says Cronin in a press release. “I was presented with a whole new slew of problems and situations that I was trying to work through.”
You can listen to included track “Shout It Out” below. MCII comes May 7 in the U.S. and May 13 in UK and Europe.
