Moby
Moby has shared two new anti-Donald Trump songs. “Trump Is on Your Side” is credited to Moby and the Homeland Choir and “Little Failure” to Moby and the Void Pacific Choir. The songs are part of the “30 Days, 30 Songs” anti-Trump campaign put together by author/publisher Dave Eggers and Death Cab for Cutie manager Jordan Kurland. Listen to both below.
The “30 Days, 30 Songs” project will feature one song a day until election day. It was launched with Death Cab for Cutie’s anti-Trump song “Million Dollar Loan,” and includes Jim James’ video for “Same Old Lie,” Franz Ferdinand’s “Demagogue,” Thao’s “Before You Vote,” and EL VY’s “Are These My Jets.”
Moby had this to say about Trump in a statement: “No sane person would hire an angry, inexperienced clown to fix their plumbing, so why would any sane person think of hiring an angry, inexperienced clown to run the country?”
Moby and the Void Pacific Choir just released an album, These Systems Are Failing, on Mute and recently shared a video for “Are You Lost in the World Like Me,” which you can also watch below.
Moby is part of our charity Protest Auction in which we are auctioning all the protest signs from our Protest Issue, with all profits going to the American Cancer Society. Bid on Moby’s sign here.
