Modest Mouse’s Isaac Brock Composes Film Score

Isaac Brock has always been about change. Having already covered Buddy Holly, gotten his portrait displayed in city hall, and made waves with his day job, he’s now taking on the world of cinema. The Modest Mouse bandleader is composing the score to upcoming film, Queens of Country. The film (featuring Lizzy Caplan of Mean Girls and Party Down, and Ron Livingston of Office Space), focuses around a lost iPod, line dancing competitions, time machines and doppelgangers. In other words, any topic that could easily find its way into a Modest Mouse tune.

The film is set for a 2012 release.
