Morrissey Cancels Gig After Being Hit in the Face With a Bottle or Cup
Singer Remains Irritated But Unhurt

Morrissey
Poor Moz…it’s clearly not his year. Hot on the heels of his October 25 collapse during a show in Swindon, the moody troubadour canceled his Liverpool gig a mere two songs in after a fan threw a plastic bottle or cup, hitting him in the face.
Fittingly, Morrissey had just begun song “Black Cloud” when the object made contact, prompting him to leave the sage with only a terse “goodbye.” Said Echo Arena general manager Tim Banfield to NME, “We are exceptionally disappointed that one individual should choose to recklessly cause the concert to be abandoned, ruining what should have been a brilliant night out for thousands of Morrissey fans.”
Moral of the story: Morrissey’s human and he needs to be loved…just like everybody else does.

Good for him. No one should put up with that crap, especially not Moz.
