Morrissey
Morrissey recently launched a new website (www.morrisseycentral.com) and today there was a bit of activity there. He shared what he’s describing as a “lost studio track” entitled “By the Time I Get to Wherever I’m Going.” He also posted an interview with himself conducted by John Riggers where Morrissey confirmed his support for Brexit, pointed out that “Hitler was actually a leftist,” and said other things that will likely get him in some trouble. Check out “By the Time I Get to Wherever I’m Going” below.
Morrissey released a new album, Low in High School, last November via BMG and his own new label, Etienne. Most of the talk around the album centered on Morrissey defending alleged sexual assaulters Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein in a pair of interviews, one with the German newspaper Der Spiegel and another with the British newspaper The Sunday Times). Morrissey later said the Der Spiegel interview was taken out of context and misunderstood (despite the newspaper later releasing the full audio of the interview).

Previously Morrissey shared the album’s first single, “Spent the Day in Bed,” and announced some American tour dates for this fall. He also stopped by the BBC music show Later… with Jools Holland to perform “Spent the Day in Bed” and shared a video for “Spent the Day in Bed” in which he rode in a wheelchair, among other things. Then he shared lyric videos for two other songs from the album, “I Wish You Lonely” and “Jacky’s Only Happy When She’s Up on the Stage,” as well as a full on video for “Jacky’s Only Happy When She’s Up on the Stage.”

Why still reporting about him ? What does he must say or do to finally be considered the unsufferable asshole that he is ? People are nostalgic of the Smiths so they hang on to this old fascist man but he never was as good as a solo artist to begin with. Let himin rot in the dark and stop making him happen.
