My Bloody Valentine To Release New Album, EP This Year
Listen to Unreleased Track "Good For You"
Apr 30, 2012 My Bloody Valentine
With the band already scheduled to reissue their seminal 1988 debut Isn’t Anything and 1991’s Loveless on May 7, along with numerous pieces of unreleased and rarity material, My Bloody Valentine mastermind Kevin Shields has confirmed that after 21 years the band will release a new full-length album and EP this year. In a recent interview with Mojo, Shields says that he was inspired after sifting through previously shelved material: “I listened to the stacks of CDs and thought, ‘Shit, this is better than the unreleased tracks on the compilation’. I decided it would be insane not to finish it.”
You can currently listen to and stream a previously unreleased track called “Good For You” at Pitchfork.
