Neil Finn of Crowded House (and now Fleetwood Mac) has joined forces with his son Liam Finn and are releasing their first collaborative album together, Lightsleeper, this Friday (August 24) via Inertia Music and [PIAS]. Now they have shared a video for another song from the album, “Anger Plays a Part.” Director team Anthony & Alex directed the video, which features kids in grownup roles and situations. Watch it below, via Billboard.
Anthony & Alex had this to say about the video to Billboard: “We really wanted to interpret melodrama through the imagination of a child, and see what they could add to it. It was one of our favorite shoots because the children got it immediately.”
Previously they shared the album’s first single, “Back to Life,” as well as “Ghosts.”
Lightsleeper is a true family affair. Sharon Finn, Neil’s wife and Liam’s mother, plays bass on two of the album’s songs. Elroy Finn, Liam’s brother, drums on seven songs. The album also features special guests Connan Mockasin on four songs, Greek friends Elias Dendias and Spiros Anemogianis on “Back to Life,” and Fleetwood Mac’s Mick Fleetwood on three songs.
