Neko Case, k.d. lang, and Laura Veirs have teamed up for a collaborative album, case/lang/veirs. It’s due out June 17 via ANTI-. The trio has shared the album’s first single, “Atomic Number,” as well as an album trailer. Both are below. The super-group has also announced some tour dates, which are also below.

The collaboration began several years ago when lang sent Case and Veirs an email that simply read: “I think we should make a record together.” In a press release Case says she didn’t hesitate: “Laura and I both responded immediately. There was no question.” The artists wrote 14 original new songs for the album. Tucker Martine produced the album with the trio and it was recorded in Portland, OR (hometown to both land and Veirs).
