Nick Cave to Write The Crow Script

Amidst the promotional blitz for upcoming Grinderman album, multi-talented musician/writer/actor Nick Cave has found time for another project—rewriting The Crow remake.
The Wrap reports Cave was brought in to retool the first pass of the screenplay completed by director Stephen Norrington. The move makes sense—in addition to being a musician of great note Cave was named one of Variety’s 10 Screenwriters to Watch in 2006.
In addition to attempting to revive a long-stalled franchise, The Wrap goes on to report that Cave is involved in several other non-musical projects, including a motion-capture version of The Threepenny Opera.
