Nirvana Detail “In Utero” 20th Anniversary Reissue

Two years after reissuing their landmark album Nevermind the surviving members of Nirvana have announced they will be providing a deluxe editon treatment to their 1993 final album In Utero to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Due out Sept. 24 on Universal, the bulked-up release will feature the remastered album, b-sides, unheard demos, live recordings, and more spanning over 70 tracks. The collection will be available on 3xCD/1-DVD “Super Deluxe Edition” as well as on standard CD and digital formats.

The live material will include recordings of the band’s “Live and Loud” concert at Seattle Pier 48, which took place Dec. 13, 1993. Footage from the performance will be released as a standalone DVD.
