No Age Announce New Album “An Object”
Out August 20 Via Sub Pop
May 30, 2013
No Age
Los Angeles duo No Age will return on August 20 with their new album, An Object. That’s the packaging above, created by the band and designer Brian Roettinger. Judging by the press release, which says, “The band has performed, recorded, produced, and prepared and assembled the entirety of the physical packaging of An Object, including jackets, inserts, and labels, taking on the roll of manufacturer, artist, and musician until the roles trip on themselves and individual parts lose their distinct meanings, demanding to be considered as a whole,” it’s bound to be some kind of punk treasure chest.
