North America To Catch Fever Ray In Fall
Fever Ray Announces Tour Dates
May 09, 2009 Fever Ray
Karin Dreijer Andersson of the Knife has announced North American fall tour dates for her solo endeavour, Fever Ray. The eponymous, sonically dark and intense album was just released in February of 2009, and Swedish artist Andreas Nilsson had the task of creating the visual atmosphere for the upcoming tour. You can get an idea of the sort of organic theme that will accompany the stage show here. As UK’s Drowned in Sound and The Guardian have attested, Andersson’s live performance is mysterious and spellbinding.
The brief tour will begin on the East Coast and hopscotch west to close out in Los Angeles.
Tour dates are as follows:
9/28 Webster Hall – New York City, NY
9/29 Webster Hall – New York City, NY
10/1 Metropolis – Montreal
10/2 Kool Haus – Toronto
10/3 Metro – Chicago, IL
10/5 Grand Ballroom – San Francisco, CA
10/7 Henry Fonda Theater – Los Angeles, CA
