NPR Streams New Mountain Goats Record
'All Eternals Deck' Drops March 29
Feb 28, 2011
The Mountain Goats
Back in December, The Mountain Goats frontman John Darnielle released via his Twitter account a brand-new track, the nostalgic piano-driven “Tyler Lambert’s Grave.” Although the song was not included in the North Carolina-based band’s upcoming LP, “Tyler Lambert’s Grave” set the stage for All Eternals Deck—an album that effortlessly balances somber themes and buyoant melodies.
All Eternals Deck might not drop until March 29, but NPR announced today that fans can preview the forthcoming album through a stream on its website. Whether you want to listen to All Eternals Deck in its entirety or track-by-track, Darnielle’s deftly affecting songwriting will be shared on NPR—free of cost—until the album’s official release.
