NZCA/LINES – Under the Radar’s SXSW Party Spotlight
Set to Play Under the Radar's Third SXSW 2013 Party, Friday, March 15 at Flamingo Cantina
Mar 11, 2013 SXSW Parties 2013
On March 15 Under the Radar will host the third of three free SXSW day parties. Leading up to the event we’re letting you know about each artist playing. Today we’re spotlighting NZCA/LINES. In a previous post we gave you the basic party details of the party: The party happens from 12:00-6:00 PM at the Flamingo Cantina at 6th and Red River (515 E. 6th Street, Austin, TX 78701). All events are free and open to the public—no RSVPs or badges are required. Come early for free beer courtesy of Sapporo. SHURE and MailChimp are also sponsoring the event. Polyvinyl is also one of the day’s sponsors.
NZCA/LINES (a.k.a. London-based musician Michael Lovett) may have named his project after a series of miles-long geoglyphs in Peru, and talks of convoluted theoretical ideas of moving magnetic poles, but on stage he’s all about pop beats and icy synths. Get warmed up with an R&B mixtape he made for us here, or indulge in a few tracks below. His self-titled debut album is out now. NZCA/LINES is set to perform on March 15 at 12:45PM
