Ok Go have staged staring contests with Muppets, gotten animated, and—of course—made treadmills hip again. Now the visual happy quartet is spreading the love.

On November 17, the band took the streets of Los Angeles with 100 of their closest friends for a 8-mile long good old fashioned parade. Dancing down a route that, from above, spelled out their band name, their goal was simple: to make people smile. Check out the video below.

The band is also encouraging fans to do the same on what they’re calling a “Global GPS art project.” Check out all the details here. Just stay out of traffic, okay? Accidents and jams make no one happy.
