Okkervil River unleashed another preview of their forthcoming LP, I Am Very Far, in grand style last night on Jimmy Fallon, performing new single “Wake and Be Fine.” As we reported earlier, the core band was indeed joined by The New Pornographers’ A.C. Newman and The Roots’ ?uestlove and Damon Bryson. Watch frontman Will Sheff share ragged, Black Sheep Boy-like shouts with Newman, below. By the way, I Am Very Far drops May 10. So far away, indeed. It’s Okkervil’s sixth full-length.
