‘Tomboy’ Gets Earlier Release
Jan 28, 2011 Panda Bear
Last week, synth-folk master Noah Lennox, the brainchild behind Panda Bear, teased fans with the unveiling of the track list for Tomboy, Panda Bear’s much-anticipated fourth record and its first since 2007’s Person Pitch. Today, Lennox upped the hype with the release of the album’s cover art (pictured here). The minimalist design was created by Lennonx’s long-time friend and Jane bandmate, Scott Mou.
It was also announced today that Tomboy is slated to drop on April 12, one week earlier than previously announced, so it can be purchased on April 16—also known to audiophiles as Record Store Day.
