Paul Weller Announces Only North American Shows For 2012

The Modfather himself Paul Weller has announced his only scheduled appearances in North America. The former leader of The Jam will be performing a two-night stint at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square, New York City on May 18 and 19. Tickets are due to go on sale this Friday, Feb. 2 at noon EST. The two shows are in support of Weller’s upcoming new album Sonik Kicks, the follow-up to his Mercury Prize nominated effort Wake Up the Nation. Sonik Kicks, which features guest appearances by Noel Gallagher and Graham Coxon will see release on March 27 on Yep Roc Records. You can still listen to the album’s single “Around the Lake” here.
