Swedish indie-poppers Peter Bjorn and John are once again striving for the title of “ubiquitous.” The end of July will see the trio beginning a month and a half-stretch of dates opening for Depeche Mode, complete with selected headlining shows.

Meanwhile, July 14th, will see the release of digital EP It Don’t Move Me, featuring remixes by Miike Snow, Weird Tapes and Jacko from Teddybears. It will be available exclusively on Masterbeat.com for one week, before being available for sale via other digital service providers on July 21st. Mark Hopus from Blink 182 has also recently remixed Peter Bjorn and John’s “Nothing to Worry About.” You can stream the remix at Absolutepunk.net.

Don’t despair unknown remixers—the band hasn’t forgotten about you! Gripped by remix fever the band is running a context via Music Myne and Myspace. Between now and September 12th, you too could earn a spot in Peter Bjorn and John’s Myspace player by remixing the song “It Don’t Move Me.” Check out the details here.
