Peter Bjorn and John’s Peter Morén to Release Swedish Language Album

As reported by Pitchfork, Peter Bjorn and John’s Peter Morén is releasing a new solo LP. Entitled Sparen Av Taren, the album is written all in his native tongue of Swedish. The LP has been a new creative venture for Morén, as he posted on his MySpace Blog: “It opens up a whole new field of references to Swedish culture and of course it enables you to express yourself more freely.” Morén produced the album along with Tobias Froberg and the aid of Lykke Li drummer Lars Skoglund’s. The album is due out March 3 in Scandinavia. You can now hear two tracks off the LP on his MySpace page and below is the video for the song “Esther.”
