Jarvis Cocker
Photography by Sophie Etchart
All this week Jarvis Cocker is taking over the Galerie Chappe art gallery in Paris for musical performances, exercise classes, a photo exhibition, and all sorts. Today was children’s day, as French children traditionally have Wednesday’s off, and so we sent our Paris photographer Sophie Etchart down to the event to capture the madness. Click here for a full gallery of photos of Jarvis Cocker performing with a bunch of kids. The former Pulp frontman’s new solo album, Further Complications, is due out on Rough Trade on May 19th.

I agree. Awesome pics. I’m sure those kids really dug the skull on his acoustic guitar too!

What a great idea to get kids involved. Check out the footage on his website for a clip of him dancing with the children. He’s got as much energy (if not more) as them!
