To Feature Brand New Songs
Jul 01, 2013 Pixies
Last Friday, the Pixies premiered “Bagboy,” the band’s first new song in nine years. Following the departure of longtime bassist Kim Deal, the band has now announced the first leg of a worldwide tour. Set to feature brand new material, frontman Frank Black has promised in a statement that the group will also “be playing songs that we haven’t played in ages or never played live before ... We’ve probably rehearsed some 80 songs, so we’ll be able to change up the set at the last minute if we feel like it.”
