Last year Pixies released a new album, Head Carrier, via Pixiesmusic/[PIAS]. Now the band has announced what they’re calling “leg two” of their 2017 North American tour dates. The shows go down in September and October. Sunflower Bean will open some dates, with Mitski being the support on others. Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 24. All their North American dates are below, followed by the video for “Classic Masher.”

Previously the band announced “leg one” of their American tour dates, to go down in April and May, with Cymbals Eat Guitars supporting some dates and Public Access TV the opener on others. Head Carrier is the band’s second album since reuniting in 2004 and is the follow-up to 2014’s Indie Cindy, which was more of an EP collection than an album. It is the first album to feature Paz Lenchantin (A Perfect Circle, Zwan, The Entrance Band) as their new permanent bassist.
