Following the departure of longtime bassist Kim Deal and her short-lived replacement Kim Shattuck, the Pixies have announced that they have recruited Paz Lenchatin for the vacant role. Lenchatin has played in a number of bands in the past, including A Perfect Circle, Zwan, and the Entrance Band.

She’ll be joining the band on their newly expanded 2014 tour, the dates of which can be found below. Also below is a brand new video for “Another Toe in the Ocean,” taken off the band’s EP-1. Click to watch.
