PJ Harvey has announced her new album. The Hope Six Demolition Project is due out April 15 via Vagrant. Below is a trailer for the record that features the songs “The Community of Hope” and “The Wheel.” Seamus Muprhy directed it. “The Wheel” also premiered today on Steve Lamacq’s show on BBC Radio 6 Music. Below also is the album’s tracklist and Harvey’s upcoming festival dates.

Back in January of 2015 Harvey recorded her album in public as part of a month-long exhibition at London’s Somerset House. The album will be the long-awaited follow-up to 2011’s acclaimed Let England Shake, which won the Mercury Prize (she’s the only artist to have won it twice, also winning for 2001’s Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea).

The Hope Six Demolition Project was written during Harvey’s travels to Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Washington, D.C. over a four-year period. Harvey commented on the album in a press release: “When I’m writing a song I visualize the entire scene. I can see the colors, I can tell the time of day, I can sense the mood, I can see the light changing, the shadows moving, everything in that picture. Gathering information from secondary sources felt too far removed for what I was trying to write about. I wanted to smell the air, feel the soil and meet the people of the countries I was fascinated with.”
