
Polyvinyl Records Gives Away Free Download Sampler in Honor of 15th Anniversary

In honor of their 15th anniversary, Polyvinyl Records is celebrating with a show featuring the labels past and current artists and giving out a free sampler.
The all day and night anniversary show (part of the Pygmalion Music Festival) will be on September 24 at High Dive in Champaign, Ill. Some of the artists scheduled to perform are Braid, Deerhoof, Xiu Xiu, Japandroids, and Owen.
The sampler features 30 songs from throughout the labels 15-year history, including tracks by of Montreal, Deerhoof, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, Love Is All, and Mates of State.
Our Summer Issue, which is out now, includes a special article on Polyvinyl Records’ 15th Anniversary that features interviews with co-founder Matt Lunsford, as well as with members of Mates of State, Japandroids, of Montreal, Joan of Arc, and Saturday Looks Good to Me.
For those attending the Pygmalion Music Festival, Under the Radar is one of the sponsors and will be giving out copies our current issue in the gift bags.
