
Pop Montreal 2009 Announces New Acts
Sufjan Stevens, Yo La Tengo, Japandroids and More Just Added with Hundreds to Come

Canada’s Pop Montreal International Music Festival has recently acquired a large batch of new performers for the 2009 festival. New acts include Sufjan Stevens, Yo La Tengo, Lee Fields & The Expressions, Jay Reatard, Micachu & The Shapes, Clues, Slim Twig, Think About Life, Cadence Weapon, Sam Shalabi’s Egyptian Light Orchestra, Japandroids, The Dø, Lullabye Arkestra, Duchess Says, Dragonette, Joel Plaskett, Kid Koala Presents: The Slew, Ariane Moffatt, Young Galaxy, Aids Wolf, Tanlines, Katie Stelmanis, Ninjasonik. This is, of course, in addition to the many acts already announced and the hundreds yet to come. Previously announced acts included Os Mutantes, Fever Ray, Butthole Surfers, Destroyer and more.
