Portishead and Jeff Mangum to Play ATP in New Jersey
I’ll Be Your Mirror Festival in Asbury Park September and October
Jan 26, 2011 Neutral Milk Hotel
All Tomorrow’s Parties is coming to the New York area again, this time to Asbury Park, New Jersey, September 30 - October 2. Portishead is curating the Saturday and Sunday of the festival and will be performing both those nights. It’s their first East Coast shows since 1998. But the other big news is that Neutral Milk Hotel’s Jeff Mangum is performing twice as well, performing songs by his former band. His performance on Friday night can only be attended by those who buy full three-day festival passes for $249. Mangum is also playing a separate show Monday night, for which they are selling separate $35 tickets for.
Other artists currently confirmed include Chavez, Shellac, Cults, and The Album Leaf, with more to be announced soon. Criterion will be running the cinema portion and Friday will also have a comedy stage. Visit http://www.atpfestival.com for more info.
