Premiere: Alpaca Sports Mixtape
Plus: Alpaca Sports’ Premiere of New Track, “A Million Times”
Dec 13, 2012 Alpaca Sports
Alpaca Sports first caught our ear with the jangly pop tune “She’ll Come Back For Indian Summer.” And since we could all use a little warmth in these winter months, we asked the Swedish duo to make us a mixtape. They responded with a few songs from their favorite band Hit Parade. Stay tuned to the end—where they’ve included a brand new track of their own called, “A Million Times.” It’s the b-side to “As long as I have you,” which you can pick up February 10 via Cloudberry Records. In the meanwhile, you can check out a music video for the cut here.
Here’s what they had to say about their picks:
Hey Under The Radar!
Since I listen to The Hit Parade for at least one hour a day (often more), and have been doing that for so many years I can’t even keep count, I decided to create a mixtape with nine of their fantastic songs together with a new song from Alpaca Sports. These aren’t necessary my favorite songs by them, just songs that mean more to me at the moment. Hope you enjoy them.
Lots of love,
Andreas, Alpaca Sports
