Today, we’re premiering the video for “Sighing,” the latest from mellow Boston punks Free Pizza. There’s a hint of classic Minutemen minimalism at play here, though the three-piece are looking more inward than backward; the song’s thin, jamming-econo mix and spindly guitars work effectively to illustrate those grayscale emotions residing somewhere between melancholy and apathy. Below, watch a stripped-down clip for “Sighing” and check out the band’s tour dates. The song was taken from the forthcoming EP Berlin, DE.
