Premiere: Jónsi & Alex - “There’s Something I Need To Tell You”
Jónsi & Alex-composed Soundtrack for MANH(A)TTAN Now Available
MANH(A)TTAN (Original Score from the Television Series) is available now from Lakeshore Records in digital form, with a CD release due out early in 2016. The full release includes both Jónsi & Alex’s score for season one and Jeff Russo & Zoë Keating’s score for season two.
The series’ first season soundtrack is composed by Jónsi & Alex. (The duo previously collaborated on 2006’s Riceboy Sleeps, as well as the score for Cameron Crowe’s We Bought A Zoo in 2011.) We’re excited to premiere “There’s Something I Need To Tell You,” an ominous, tension-building track from their MANH(A)TTAN score, which should hit home with fans of both Jónsi’s solo material and his work as part of Sigur Ros.
On Friday, January 8th, the second season finale of MANH(A)TTAN aired on WGN. Set during World War II, this period drama centers on America’s race to build the first Atomic bomb, and focuses on the scientists tasked with the project in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
