Last week Under the Radar premiered an unreleased Ryan Adams song, “Shine Through the Dark,” and now we’re pleased to premiere a full stream of the album it’s taken from —the 64-track charity compilation Live From Nowhere Near You: Volume Two, which is out today via Greyday Records. The album features rare and unreleased tracks from the likes of Elliott Smith, Bright Eyes (featuring Spoon’s Britt Daniel), The Shins’ James Mercer, Modest Mouse, Wilco, Daniel Johnston, The Helio Sequence, Blue Giant (featuring members of Sleater-Kinney, The Decemberists, and Viva Voce), and much more.

The compilation was put together by Kevin Moyer to raise funds for the homeless youth organization Outside In and it also features street musicians. Moyer explains the inspiration for the comp as such, “I was outside a venue after a show waiting on friends and sat down with an amazing street musician. He was better than the band we had just seen and all of these ‘music fans’ were leaving the show with their $20 t-shirt merch purchases tucked under their arms and not paying any attention to this guy playing at their feet for free.”

Stream the full album via the player below and also check out the massive tracklisting below.
