In just over a week, Under the Radar is headed over to the Netherlands to check out Best Kept Secret. (Insert obligatory joke about how it won’t be a secret after we’re done with it…) As is our tradition whenever we trek out to a fest, we’ve asked a few of the artists playing to make us mixtapes. The first in our series comes from Dutch garage glam rockers, Rats on Rafts. (Franz Ferdinand is a fan—and you should be too.) Their mix includes cuts from Under the Radar favorites Ariel Pink and Veronica Falls, and the band’s own take on Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra cut, “Some Velvet Morning.”
