Premiere: Small Black – “Reconstruction (Snowmine Remix)”
Band of Synthy Brothers
Apr 11, 2014 Snowmine
Small Black and Snowmine both hail from Brooklyn and are clearly drinking the same water. You can hear it in the epic swells of their electro pop. So Snowmine’s remix of “Reconstruction,” a track from Small Black’s EP Real People, isn’t exactly shocking. It is however, stunning. What can we say, we like our synths big and our emotions even bigger. Take a listen below. You can also grab Snowmine’s new album Dialects here.

Snowmine and Small Black couldn’t be more different. I love both bands and just saw them in Chicago. The Small Black crowd wasn’t too taken with Snowmine’s alternative, psychedelic music it seemed (even though Snowmine’s performance was absolutely flawless compared to Small Black’s).
Also, “Reconstruction” is not on the second album from Small Black. It’s on their new EP “Real People”.
