Available on iTunes

Prince
Less than a day after announcing that he had reached a new deal with Warner Bros. that would give him control of his old catalog and that a 30th anniversary reissue of his seminal work Purple Rain would see release later this year, Prince provided yet another surprise over the weekend by dropping a brand new track titled, “BREAKDOWN.” The ballad, the first in a number of new songs promised to see the light of day in 2014, is currently available to purchase and download on iTunes. As Prince pointed out in a press release, “A brand-new studio album is on the way and both Warner Bros. Records and Eye are quite pleased with the results of the negotiations and look forward to a fruitful working relationship.”
