Dedicated to Freddie Gray

Prince
Back in May Prince released the fittingly titled song “Baltimore” in response to the death of Freddie Gray, who died in the custody of the Baltimore police department. Prince also performed a concert in Baltimore around the time of the protests about Gray’s death (protests which also devolved into riots). The song featured the vocals of Eryn Allen Kane. Now Kane has shared on her YouTube Prince’s video for the song. It consists mainly of footage of the protests and ends with the following quote from Prince: “The system is broken. It’s going to take the young people to fix it this time. We need new ideas, new life.” Check it out below.
