Pulp Reunion Tour To End, Will Not Result in New Music, Says Jarvis Cocker
Last Show To Be On Coachella Cruise
Nov 26, 2012 Pulp
In a new interview Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker revealed that the band’s recent reunion will soon be coming to an end. Speaking with Q Magazine Cocker said that the band has no plans to perform live past their upcoming appearance on the S.S. Coachella this December. We haven’t got anything planned after the New Year… we’ll just be cruising off into the sunset,” says Cocker. “Seems poetic. Not wishing to make a big deal, but we’ve played for a while and it’s been really good, but you can’t keep doing that forever.”
Admitting that he’s “enjoyed the fact that we haven’t been doing any new stuff,” Cocker says the band doesn’t have any plans to step back into a studio to record, ending with, “Will you see Pulp again? Who knows. I’m not stoking those particular rumours.” (via NME)
