Starting 2011 Britpop icons Pulp engaged in a number of reunion performances, the original line-up’s first set of shows since 2002. According to NME a new documentary is in the works tentatively titled Pulp and Sheffield, capturing the band’s Dec. 8, 2012 show at Motorpoint Arena in the band’s hometown of Sheffield, England. The behind-the-scenes film reportedly follows the band throughout the day as they prepared for gig.
Meanwhile, frontman Jarvis Cocker has confirmed that Pulp will not be performing live this year, though Cocker himself will appear solo as part of Beck’s packed Song Reader show in London on July 4.
