Pulp’s Jarvis Cocker has debuted a new song, “Friday 13th 2015,” about the recent terrorist attacks in Paris. The British musician lives in Paris. The track is a spoken word piece, backed by Serafina Steer, in which Cocker talks about what he was doing when he heard about the attacks and how he was worried about his son, who he couldn’t reach at the time. The song debuted on Cocker’s BBC Radio 6 Music show Sunday Service. You can listen to it at the BBC site here (skip to around the 1:00 mark to hear the song). Cocker also played other French songs or songs about Paris on the show.
