Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, the perennial bandleader of The Roots, has announced that he will release his very own memoir this coming summer. Titled Mo’ Meta Blues: The World According to Questlove the nonfiction work will provide insight into one of music’s hardest working individuals, with tales from his upbringing in Philadelphia, his thoughts on the state of hip hop and music criticism, and a plethora of run-in experiences with fellow artists that feature Stevie Wonder, KISS, Jay-Z, and a rollerskating Prince.
Mo’ Meta Blues: The World According to Questlove comes out June 18.
