
R.E.M. to be Featured on Latest “Austin City Limits” DVD
DVD Features Three Unaired Songs

On October 26, New West Records will release R.E.M.‘s “Live From Austin, Texas,” the latest installment to the PBS show, Austin City Limits. Edited into a one-hour broadcast, the March 2008 performance included songs from Accelerate along with classic favorites such as “Losing my Religion,” and “Man on the Moon.”
The DVD version will feature an extended performance by the band that includes three un-aired songs.
For those who missed the original broadcast, the show will re-air November 27.

I have listened to “Man on the Moon” and I instantly loved the song. I wonder why they didn’t release the song as their singles or as any new albums. Anyway, the songs on this DVD are all amazing.
