R.E.M. has as announced the reissue of their 1984 album, Reckoning, slated for distribution as a two-disc 25th anniversary deluxe edition on June 23rd.

Alongside the deluxe edition is a bonus disc with a previously unreleased 1984 Chicago concert complete with eight of the ten songs on the album.

Reckoning was R.E.M.’s second full-length album and garnered rave reviews upon its original release. Eventually certified gold, the album also peaked at #27 and is considered a fan favorite.

The album is also scheduled for a release on 180 gram vinyl along with debut album, Murmur—both in their complete original packaging.
