Nominees for the 2019 induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have been announced. They include Radiohead, The Cure, Devo, Janet Jackson, MC5, Rage Against the Machine, Roxy Music, Kraftwerk, LL Cool J, Stevie Nicks, and more. The full list is below.
To be eligible an artist needs to have released their first album or single at least 25 years ago but no artists eligible for the first time were nominated this year. Radiohead and Rage Against the Machine were first eligible last year and were also nominated then. This year’s first time nominees include Devo, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks, Todd Rundgren, John Prine, and Def Leppard.
Fans can vote for their favorite nominees at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame website. The inductees will be revealed in December, with the ceremony taking place next March.
