Regina Spektor
After a three-year wait, Regina Spektor is due to release her new album, Far, on June 23rd with Sire Records. The 13 tracks were recorded alongside the likes of Jeff Lynne (ELO, The Traveling Wilburys), Mike Elizondo (Dr. Dre, Eminem), David Kahne (Paul McCartney, The Strokes) and Garret “Jacknife” Lee (Weezer, REM). The song “Laughing With” will be the album’s first single.
Spektor’s last album, Begin To Hope, was a worldwide success having occupied top 100 charts and going either gold or platinum in seven countries. Working form the ground up, Spektor enjoyed time with intimate performances and sold out audiences in support of critically acclaimed album.
A world tour is expected to begin in June, and dates should be announced soon.
