Two Mesmerizing Singles from her forthcoming album Bloodless

Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter Samia is set to release her highly anticipated third album, Bloodless, and reveals two new tracks that delve into the album’s core themes of perception and identity.
The two new singles, “Hole in a Frame” and the seven-minute “Pants,” come with visualizers by Sarah Ritter, with the “Pants” video featuring actor Fred Hechinger.
“I paired these tracks because they capture opposite instincts,” Samia explains. “‘Hole in a Frame’ is about a fascination with disappearing and the power of absence. ‘Pants’ is about accepting a non-refundable self, social contexts and all. They move from a comfort in the possibilities of emptiness to the reality of existence.”
Recorded in North Carolina and Minneapolis, Bloodless explores complex narratives of self-perception. “It’s easier to be what someone wants you to be if you give as little as possible,” Samia notes. The album draws inspiration from unsolved mysteries, examining how shadows can loom larger than their source.
Bloodless will be released on April 25th via Grand Jury Music, following her award-winning 2023 record Honey. Fans can pre-order the album now, with tour dates already announced across the UK and US.
